 Brake Fluid/System Flush

Braking System Flush needs to be done every 12 months - "Brake fluid has a certain USABLE LIFE". This usable life is determined by the amount of WATER/RUST/DIRT that the fluid absorbs. As brake fluid absorbs more contaminents, its ability to do its job of stopping your car is greatly diminished.
Most owners' manual will specify that brake fluid should be replaced almost every year.
This is also to stop the swelling of Brake Hoses and damage to the Master Cylinder and other moving parts of the Braking System!

 When Brake Fluid is not Replaced, the Brake Fluid Properties (Buffering Amines and Filming Amines) Simply the properties that protect the metal/Alloy parts, do not do the manufactured job and will corrode much faster causing costly repairs.

Buffering Amines -  Reduces the Acidity level of Brake Fluid,

Filming Amines     -  Protective film on Metals.

A Study Done by the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGY;

ABS systems have an increased Brake fluid mixing, resulting in the corrosion inhibitor concentration Decreasing faster,

ABS use close tolerance valves that must actuate quickly and more concisely than conventional braking systems,

ABS systems or more susceptable to degradation in performance due to corrosion or deposits.

Another Study from the NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION (NHTSA) FOUND THAT WILL ABS SYSTEMS IT MORE IMPORTANT TO GET THE BRAKING SYSTEM FLUSHED !  - after a series of accidents found that the brake fluid was not doing the correct job at the level of performance required with this Braking system!
